Vol.8A unique tropical sauna experience : Enjoy the sauna on your trip in Okinawa
Why not add a sauna to your stay? Sauna lovers can enjoy a truly relaxing experience. Beginners can make their sauna debut a memorable one.
In this two-part Special Stories series, we will be introducing hotels with comprehensive sauna facilities exclusively available to guests staying at the hotel.
First up is hotel androoms Naha Port(hereafter referred to as "androoms Naha"), where you can experience the open feeling that is unique to the tropical island of Okinawa.

The appeal of "Androoms Naha" is the rooftop pool and large sauna that can be used all year round.
In the hot season, you can enjoy the refreshing feeling of a dip in the pool after a scorching hot sauna. In the off-season, you can enjoy the luxury of warming up in the sauna and then swimming in the pool... a sauna experience that can only be had here.
A fantastic sauna and an open-air pool

UMISOKO SAUNA, which is inspired by the bottom of the ocean, has fantastical marine blue lighting and a ceiling with wave-shaped curves.
The four-tiered benches can easily seat 15 people, making for a spacious and comfortable space.
The sauna stove is made by HARVIA. The auto-loyly function operates every 15 minutes, ensuring heat reaches the entire room.
Dai Matsuo, the "master of relaxation" who produced this sauna, explains its appeal as follows:
"You can enjoy the pool, sauna, and cold bath all in one place. It's a 'resort sauna' where friends, couples, families, and everyone can come together in their swimsuits."
The ultimate combination of "heat wave and pool"

At "Androoms Naha," a heat wave master will be holding an Aufguss three times a day: in the morning, evening, and night.
We currently have four heat wave masters on staff, and they offer a variety of Aufguss treatments. From mint and citrus aromatherapy to relaxing treatments that incorporate stretching, you can enjoy a full-fledged "heat wave experience" at any time you like.

You can enjoy the sunset and night view
When you emerge from the sauna drenched in sweat, the Okinawan sky, cityscape, and pool will spread out before your eyes.
Take a shower and cool down in the jacuzzi, which is kept at 16.5°C by a chiller. Afterwards, you can swim in the pool or soak up the Okinawan breeze by the poolside. An exceptional experience awaits.
In winter, the pool becomes a cold bath and the jacuzzi becomes a bath at about 40°C. It's also great that you can enjoy different things depending on the season.
There is also a drink counter where you can drink as much Sanpin tea and sports drinks as you like. While staying hydrated, you can enjoy the cycle of "hot → cold → outside air" to your heart's content.
The rooftop area is exclusively for guests staying at the hotel and requires an advance reservation. If there is availability on the day, you can also make a reservation at the hotel (1,800 yen per night). Another great thing about the area is that there is a limit on the number of people allowed in, so it doesn't get too crowded.
Private sauna on the top floor

For those who want to enjoy the sauna at their own pace, we recommend the "Premier Twin Room with Sauna" on the top floor.
The spacious 50m² guest room is equipped with a HARVIA sauna where you can enjoy a self-louver, a bathtub with a chiller, and a relaxation space with an infinity chair.
You can enjoy the sauna at any time and at any temperature you like without worrying about those around you.

The refrigerator is stocked with sauna staple "Oropo" drinks and Ryukyu glassware, and there are also plenty of amenities, including the hotel's original sauna poncho and a ReFa hair dryer.
Guests of this room can also use the rooftop area free of charge, so they can enjoy the pool and Aufguss.
Enjoy a loyly experience in a private sauna
For those who want to enjoy a more private sauna experience, there is a private sauna room available for hire. This is also available exclusively to overnight guests and can be reserved in two-hour increments (4,000 yen for two hours).
In the self-loyly sauna, you can also try "Sanpincha Loyly," which uses Okinawa's local tea, Sanpincha. The refreshing aroma fills the sauna room.
There is a temperature-adjustable sauna, a relaxation space, and even a modular bath, so you can relax at your own pace.

Finishing off the day with a meal of "sa-meshi"
One of the things to enjoy after a sauna is a meal.
The Blue Port CAFE restaurant on the first floor of the hotel offers a variety of Okinawan dishes, including the finest Agu rice bowl, Okinawan tantan soba noodles, and Okinawan taco rice. Don't miss out on their signature sweets, such as the Basque cheesecake made with purple sweet potato and island pumpkin.
What's even better is that you can order from the smart mirror in your room and enjoy your meal in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to relax and enjoy the satisfaction of a full stomach after your meal.
Enjoy the openness of the rooftop pool, the comfort of a full-fledged sauna, and the fun of sauna meals - spend a special time at hotel androoms Naha Port.
