Notice of Takayama City Accommodation Tax Introduction

Due to the revision of Takayama City ordinance , the accommodation tax will be levied as follows from October 1, 2025.
| Accommodation fee (per person per night, excluding tax) | tax rate |
| Less than 10,000 yen | 100 yen |
| 10,000 yen or more but less than 30,000 yen | 200 yen |
| Over 30,000 yen | 300 yen |
*Even if you make a reservation before October 1, 2025, the accommodation tax will be levied on stays from October 1 onwards.
